   Hmmm. It’s hard because there could be many different reasons why that’s happening.

   It could just be the application you’re trying to open – so, why re-install it and see if that works.

   If it doesn’t, then it could be a malfunction, caused by a Trojan/Virus. Perhaps someone has used your computer and buggered it up for you.

   If you’ve got Windows, do a System Restore. I don’t know what OS you have, so it will be under either the ‘Backup and Restore’ section in ‘Control Panel’, in Vista – and it will be under ‘Help and Support’ in XP.

   Chose a Date when you can remember your computer was working, and Restore. If that doesn’t work, get your hands on a Recovery Disc for your OS (Operating System). On eBay, they’re like £5.

   Have you tried system restore?
   Take it back to 2 weeks ago and see if it "fixes" the problem.
