yeah registry cleaner is good for any kind of PC.the various registry cleaner are registry convoy 2009, registry cleaner 1.0, All in one 2.72 etc.
People uses them to "tidy" up the registry but even for that it’s a waste of time. It’s strange that an average or less skilled user would be using one, especially they don’t know what these keys mean and if it’s ok to remove them. I bet if I ask someone and say what this key is and why are you removing it? That person wouldn’t know and would probably say "Well, the program says it’s unwanted so therefore I’ll remove it" That is one part of a problem using a registry cleaner – you may be removing invalid or redundant keys but days, weeks, months later, you may find that you need those keys but they’re gone. Furthermore, if an application is not working, re-installation is sufficient to fix the problem. If you have problems installing an antivirus or internet security because of the registry clutter left behind from your old antivirus, registry cleaners won’t solve it – you need to remove them manually or use a cleanup utility.
All these claims of preventing crashing, freezing and improving the performances are myths largely created by the registry cleaning software companies and many are rogue and untrustworthy. This is where you got to be careful. A good example is RegCure, this program is not rogue but uses scare tactics to try and make you to buy to "fix" +500 "critical errors" Another thing, there is no such thing as a safe registry cleaner and no registry cleaners can detect with a 100% success rate because Windows registry is closed source.
Read this article. It’s up to you if you still want to have one. I know that I never wanting to have one.

Hi, Generally speaking, YES. However, make sure that you use one from a reputable supplier. My personal recommendation is for the one included with Ccleaner.
They are about as good as having a 4 year old mashing the keyboard randomly deleting stuff.
Dont bother with them.
just back up your registry before using them in case you change something that adversely affects your computer. most cleaners offers this option
Yeah very good. They clean up stuff like software fragments, broken files, cluster, unused items..you name it.
CCleaner is one of the best out there. Your machine benefits as well in terms of performance.
You can also try Tuneup Utilities..works really great on my computer. http://www.tune-up.com/products/tuneup-u…
