Hello;
Found this link for you to look at as it has a free software cleaner.
Hopefully you will be able to choose what software to remove and which to keep.
Often a person will add and UPDATE software that is valuable .that you may have for free..
With this in mind could only recommend that you first go to http://www.symantecsecuritycheck.com and have a complete scan done to ensure there are no intrusion or virus’s…Again this is safe and free and takes time so must be patient.
For the best information as to what software is in that computer you can go to http://www.belarcadvisor.com and download a little piece of software that is called "Belarc Advisor" FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY…..This is free and a blessing..Safe as no information will go anywhere..
When opened will give an enormous amount of information about Software/Hardware that is in that computer. Important stuff like Product Keys and Security Updates that are required. Hardware information that is very valuable when ever needing Tech support, etc. ..Printed out (4-5 pages) will then give you an accurate picture of the software that is installed in that computer. From there you can ADD/REMOVE programs in the Control panel or use Windows Exployer to remove programs you do not want.
You can do all this with out Reinstalling Windows. These steps will ensure you are safe.
Good luck

Hi its really simple to clean your pc. Just download the two softwares and run it in your computer then watch how your computer speed. It really enhances your computer speed.
1. ccleaner software.
2. Check drive software.
To download ccleaner :
http://www.ccleaner.com/
This software is used to clean your unwanted files and registry settings and temp files stored in your computer. (free)
To download checkdrive :
http://www.abelssoft.net
This software is used to check hard disk problems and fix it automattically. And cleans your unwanted garbage files stored in your computer.
Best way I know is to find your copy of Windows, or atleast your license code and download a new Windows Disk for that license and format your system and do a fresh install. Normally your best way to completely clean a pc. Short of that, don’t know of a easy quick way.
That all said, there aren’t any PC nazis (yet) that go thru and arrest people for what games they’ve downloaded.
Sharing copyrighted material is what most people need to worry about. If you don’t run any programs that share (bittorrent, limewire, etc…) you don’t have much to worry about.
You can get in trouble for child porn even being on a pc (police have to have a reason to look thou) Only way short of formatting I know is to go thru and search yourself. And even deleted files doesn’t mean you can’t get in trouble. (Had a guy I knew in the army get investigated for child molestation and ended up getting 7 years for child porn they found on his pc. Only thing they really could prove. Files were actually "deleted" but still on the pc.)
The cleaners people are listing on here don’t do anything for removing illegal stuff off of your pc. They are for cleaning out your registry, removing spyware, etc… and while helpful don’t do much for your posted question.
No there is not. No program built so far can do that but you can always re-install windows but I don’t suggest it.
The only way you can be absolutely sure that nothing is on it is to format the hard drive and reinstall Windows.
Spybot.
Insert your windows disc, if you are using windows, and install windows, when it asks if you want to format the disk, say yes, that will wipe everything off and give you a clean install to start from.
you should just rebute your comp
System Restore might work, if the computer has it. Just restore it to factory conditions.
Alternatively you could download Ccleaner. http://www.ccleaner.com/
If you have the windows CD you can format the hard drive. But you have to have the windows CD if you want to do that.
Only thing that would COMPLETELY clean your computer is a reformat but as I said, you need the Windows CD.
