Format, registry cleaners are spyware.
CCleaner is a good programme, which I use on my PC and it works fine; the computer doesn’t crash. There is also UniBlue Registry Cleaner, which doesn’t crash the computer but is not quite as good as the above.
CCleaner is a very good tool to use. It will clean your registry, and program files, so it’s a good all-rounder, and is free.
If you want a more advanced program, you can also try the trial of Tune-Up Utilities, which contain many more programs and tweaks to help a slow computer run at maximum speed.
