   Registries don’t need to be ‘fixed’. Ever. If you really want to try and clean it up, download REGassassin (Look up Malwarebytes). It can delete registry keys, but be EXTREMELY careful, as deleting them can and will result in system errors if you mess up.
   The ONLY reason you should EVER do this/use this tool is if you have a virus that your current Antivirus program cannot get rid of. I highly recommend you download Malwarebytes anti-malware, (it’s free) and then, if your computer comes up clean for infection, then consult a professional.

   Microsoft offers a free registry scan it’s at safety.live.com it’s called a cleanup scan…there is also a protection scan to clean out virus /spyware they are all free…

   The problems with all these ‘Someone told me’ or ‘I hear this will help make my puter faster’ is they actually do more harm than good.

   Registry cleaners are a good tool to use..but only in the right hands and by pople who knows how to use them, and most of the time, its not really needed.
   In the wrong hands or someone lacking the knowledge, its a diasaster waiting to happend, you really should be posting your problems in detail decriptions first, there are so many good IT guys and girls here, you bound to get some great answers instead of playing with fire.

   No, it doesn’t. Computer’s don’t need their registry "cleaned", except in a very few small situations. All programs that tell you that your computer needs it’s registry cleaned are lying, and trying to either get you to buy crap, or give you a virus.

   Use these free Utilities…..they work fine….i use them all the time and no problems contrary to what others have told you…
