I want to know that is there any software or method available by which I can set the time for my computer to Shut Down? I am using Windows 2000 & needs something that can shuts down my system after the specific time that I have specified is reached. That software must be capable of running on Windows XP or 2000.

you can also use your power option, in control panel, say after 2 hours you want the hard-drive to turn off, good little tool, plus no software needed, as its builtin
well, i was gonna try this, but then forgot. go to control panal, scheduled tasks, find shutdown.exe, schedule it, yay you. not sure if it works, but worth a try. i think i ‘ll try it now.
ps: you could just click turn off
