OK, so use your favorite search engine and find "AVG". They not only have FREE periodic updates, but a totally FREE version of the software as well… While you are at it, get a copy of "Spybot – Search and Destroy" as well. Like AVG it is totally FREE as well. You might as well get rid of adware and spyware as well as virus programs…

No there isn’t. All of them charge to keep receiving updates after a year or more depending on how much protection you purchased.
