   Registry Mechanic is a premium tool from PCTools.

   You can try getting a free cleaner like "CCleaner" from http://www.ccleaner.com but I would strongly recommend you stay away from these free tools as they do not have the ability to find many errors. CCleaner will typically find 50-100 errors on your system whilst registry mechanic and others can find 500+. And the more errors that a registry cleaner finds, the more effective it is at speeding up your PC.

   I personally use a tool called "Frontline Registry Cleaner", which you an get from http://www.fastregistryfixes.com/best_registry_cleaner_tools.html

   CCleaner and Comodo Cleaner are the best you can get and they are free.
