However, registry cleaners should not be used with reckless abandon. They can be useful when you have uninstalled software that doesn’t clean up after itself very well, but you can cause some issues if you mess with the wrong things.
Registry cleaning is dangerous and not really all that helpful, I’ve never meet a sysadmin who does registry cleaning. Its liable to delete something incorrectly.
