   ccleaner is good, but its strength is in removing junk from hard drive. for registry cleaning, consider Wise Registry Cleaner and also Easycleaner by toniarts – and don’t forget ERUNT as a great freeware program to backup the registry before cleaning it. 🙂

   And, you may not notice a speed increase. Computer lore indicates that you’ll see faster performance, but it may be marginal.

   CCleaner is very good for cleaning space on your harddisk and it has a registry cleaner too. But I use eusing. It’s free and very, very good! Run a back up of the registry through Eusing first and then click scan and after it’s done the scan click repair and it will clean it for you.

   I’ve been using it for years and never had a problem with it. Works a treat!

   i’d say CCleaner is good, personally i think its the best, but i haven’t tried them all

   what i like the most out of it is by default it prompts you to back up the registry before cleaning it…that way if something goes wrong you can go back to a working state.
   but so far my back ups go unused…it hasn’t messed me up
