Reboot your Windows in Safe Mode and disconnect all other monitors but One.
If problem persists, you need to create .bat file to kill dwm process.
To create a new file, open notepad.
Type “taskkill /F / IM dwm.exe” without quotes.
Save the file as “displayfix.bat”.
Copy saved file to C:/ProgramData/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs/Startup
Reboot Windows.
keep pressing F8 wen ur computer boots up…from the menu choose to boot in safe mode…see if that works….if it doesnt u can try to restore to factory settings using the recovery discs or recovery partition that u must b having. Search google on how to use recovery for further info…its pretty easy..
Posting the model number as well as brand and installed operating system would help when asking a question.
Did you create the operating system recovery disc set when prompted at set up of the lap top ?

you need to run the recovery console from the installation disk, if you don’t have one you can download a recovery console images from the internet , burn it to a cd and boot from that, there are also linux boot CDs that will let you replace corrupt windows files, one file or even piece of a file missing and windows will not start AND will not tell you why
