start up computer while tapping the F8 key then choose safemode with networking then open browser and go to safety.live.com that is microsoft’s online virus scanner choose full service scan…or try a rescue disk Avira.com offers one and Pandasecurity.com offers one…
Restart your computer, tap the F8 key until the Utility Menu comes up. Use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode then hit Enter.
Run your antivirus scan while in Safe Mode, the virus should not be running then.
Go download Malwarebytes. http://malwarebytes.org// And download it, the free one is on the left side of the page. Download it, and update it yourself when it’s done. Then go and get rkill http://www.technibble.com/rkill-repair-tool-of-the-week/ . Get the .com or .exe one. Download it and save it to the malwarebytes folder. Then run rkill(rkill terminates all malware processes, BUT DON’T RESTART YOUR COMPUTER AFTER DOIN THIS, THE VIRUS WILL JUST COME BACK.) When rkill is done. Do a full scan with Malwarebytes. When it’s done, you’ll be prompted to quarantine it. Do so. Then delete it from quarantine. Then go to the Program Files folder in My Computer, look for the folder of the rouge/virus that was on your computer. Delete that, then empty the recycle bin. You should be set.
I ran it, and it found like 80 viruses, worms, trojans, adware(also known as spyware) and everything else. It was unreal.
Then go and get an antivirus. I’d recommend Microsoft Security Essentials, if you’re looking for a free one. It has real time protection(which means it scans your computer as you visit sites to make sure a virus doesn’t get in your computer) and protects against spyware, malware, and viruses. And it’s light on the system (8MB). You should be set after that. Just set up a schedule for Microsoft Security Essentials. (It’s on the bottom of the home page of the Antivirus it self. Usually its on 2:00 AM. Change it to daily at (whenever your computer’s on and not in use) Then set it and you’ll be set.
If you want to buy one. Then use ZoneAlarm. It’s awesome from what I read. Once I get some money saved back for it, I’m buying it. It’s only 70 bucks for 3 computers. I was a Norton one for 60 bucks on one computer.
Go to this site http://www.zonealarm.com/security/en-us/zonealarm-extreme-security-hde.htm
Click on the benefits and read all the things that come with it. And when you’re done reading all of that, click on the "how we compare" button. And it compares it to Norton and Mccafee. And ZoneAlarm wins on everything. And it even comes with PC Tuneup, so you don’t have to have different programs on your computer. And I have the free firewall installed, and it works wonders. So the complete package of everything will have to be magnificent. Trust me.
Here’s the links in order: http://malwarebytes.org//

http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

And for future reference. When something pops up other than YOUR antivirus. Click out of it, if it’s still persistant. Bring up task manager(ctrl alt del) Then on that screen, exit out of all programs that are running. Then open your virus scanner, or malwarebytes and scan your whole computer, to make sure there wasn’t any virus or anything, and to make sure that thing didn’t go through.
Don’t download anything you’re not familiar of, man.
(Oh, and if you can’t open the internet on your computer. Get, a CD, and save the set up, or just the whole file to the cd, then put the cd in the computer, run set up, and download it. And start at the beginning again after you do this)
Good luck.
