   The original problem was probably with the task launcher specifically. If you go to C: – Program Files – Microsoft Works and try to run the programs directly such as WksWP and Wksdb, etc they should have still worked. Now that you’ve done an uninstall, however, they will probably not be there. If you have a backup or restore disk, the complete installation may be included there. If not, then a restore is probably the only option. I’ve had to do this as well. The updates and software downloads, retweaking – all very annoying. Wish there was more I could do. Good luck.
