   If you don’t have a CD you should have a repair partition. (Use F8 during boot.) When you get to a command prompt, type

   fdisk /mbr

   then go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and let the site clean your computer. (Cleaning the registry doesn’t clean the virus – neither does Zone Alarm.)

   If you don’t have a CD then you can buy one but if you don’t want to but that then take it into a computer store and ask them what happened. Tell them everything you just typed in. If nothing else works buy a new comp. I hope I helped. Goodluck 🙂

   I would be tempted to say take it into the shop and see how they can help you.
