use avg 7.1. free download from http://www.grisoft.com
Go go housecall.antivirus.com it is an on-line virus scanner/remover. works real well.
My advice from a previous post…
Depending on the severity/quantity of viruses, you may want to look into:
1) If you have an anti-virus program, run a full scan on your system. Look for McAffee or Norton antivirus tools in "programs" for starters.
2) If you have no antivirus program installed, try AVG free addition. It is easy to install and you’ll receive regular updates to counter new virus attacks. You can also use tools to run full scans on your system. You can download it at: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl
Or, try the following link:

3) If a PC is plagued with viruses, your best bet is to clean the system BEFORE it boots. This can be done by using some free tools available. Check out:
http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/intro/
You use PE Builder to make a bootable CDROM that loads a windows-like interface in memory. Because none of your hard drive files are locked they can be cleaned of any viruses. BartPE provides free McAffee plugins that you can run to accomplish this. WARNING: you have to fairly computer savy to work with BartPE. You may want to recruit a friend to help. It’s more work, but I’ve found this to be the most effective way to clean your system.
