So yea, I did the registry cleaner thing, antivirus scan, and malwarebytes scan, and my computer was rnning great again. However, maybe after a minute or 2, windows tells me that it cannot install anyupdates and click here to solve the problem. At that very moment when i get that message, my whole computer starts to freeze up again. And I know its not a virus or malware. What could be the problem? Should I Just completely turn off windows updates? Best answer for 10 points.

Maybe you must of screw up the registry…. You can go to safe mode and see in event viewer to see what causing the crash or freeze. It might crash in there if it’s really bad if not then your still in the green zone of fixing it without reformating the OS. After you figure out that part just see what the error is and go google it or fix it.
Can I ask, how you are sure it’s not a virus or malware?
Also if you view the event logs (application errors), you should be able to identify specific Windows updates errors that occured at the time you got that error message. The event ID may give you a better idea of what’s happening.
I would google for error windows update provides. It would be some letters and numbers near the errors name.
Also, you should check what processes are running when you start the update.
This should help with the crashing issues?
