Hey:
I suggest buying a new computer. If you know computers then I’d find a place to do custom builds. like avadirect.com or gamepc.com or one of the several sites online. I just recently bought a new computer for about 600 dollars give or take. If you don’t want to buy a new one, then make sure to keep the inside of it clean and dust it about once a month with compressed air. Also get the latest security software and do scann regularly. Also you can buy improvements but it depends on your mother board and cpu on what you can upgrade to. I hope this helps.
your welcome
more info needed
what version of windows?
when was last defrag?
when did you last clean the temp files?
did you empty the pre fetch folder?
not that i disagree with you about your computer being good, but 10 years old? how about you post the hardware specks and what software is running on it
WINDOWS = SLOW (has been and always will be)
LINUX (with the proper DE) = Warp Speed
simple as that.
google and try linux mint xfce or lxde
your PC will be much faster than you ever thought it could be.
(moonOS is another option)
If you INSIST on running windows, try ccleaner. Do not ever pay for those, they are not worth it.
