You better get someone WHO KNOWS what they are doing. To reformat the computer would mean to lose everything you already have; that is not what you need. But there could be more problems that you are aware of. Cleaning up the computer is one thing, but not the only solution you need. Get some help from a local IT guy; yeah it will cost some money; but that is much better than a reformat. Would you want to lose Pictures, Music, E-mails, or Programs? I think not. Good Luck

and go to disc cleanup disc defragment and will clean it up and go to tools and settings in internet explorer aswel and delete all history there and uninstalling unused programs in control panel speeds it up aswel
if i were in ur situation i would do a system restore with windows cd.
you can run or download Ccleaner, and download the trial version of DISKEEPER 2009 PRO PREMIER from online, it will defragmentize ur hd’s and make it run faster.

I suggest you format and do a Operating System reinstall. This will wipe out EVERYTHING you have ever download and installed, and completely put your computer back to the first time you turned on your computer.
