what os are you running? You can go to My computer icon then click on local drive C or whatever its named on your cpu and you can run a disk cleanup that should free up some space and speed things up a bit. If you have a genuine windows running on your cpu lose norton cuz that will definetly slow down the computer I used to have it myself, you can get microsoft security essentials its absolutely free forever it updates just fine. Those are off the top of my head.
Get rid of the trojan
Delete All restore Points (you don’t want that virus coming back)
Create A New Restore Point
Scan Your Computer To Make Sure It Has No More Viruses
Delete You Temporary and Tempory Internet Files
Empty Your Recycle Bin
Clean up Your Registry (optional)
