okay you can pay someone 300 bucks t olook at or you can do what they do in 5 minutes click restart when your computer turns off hold f8 click restart in safe mode okay let everything reboot and log in go to start all programs while in there if it’s fairly new 2007+ it should say accessories go into that then system tools click system restore this has to be in safe mode or your screwed:( go back to the date it started to act funny and just delete it this will get rid of any viruses and everything else so if you downloaded something it will be gone but it could’ve been the reason for the virus good luck:D
Use Avast free & reginout to see for errors.
Are you running 2 much stuff on startup? type msconfig into run and click the startup tab and uncheck all, that would definately speed things up! also go into bios settings, tab f1 when you turn the pc on, there is an option in there called fast boot, make sure that is enabled.
Most computers actually run slow because of a hidden part of your system, which is constantly being used by Windows. This part of your PC is called the "registry" and is the central database for Windows, which stores everything from your latest emails to your desktop wallpaper. It’s one of the most important parts of Windows and can easily make your PC run slow. The more corrupt registry files your computer has, the more it struggles to read them. The files which makes it run slower and slower. To fix this, you simply need to use a registry cleaner http://computer-work-smooth.com . These are small software tools which actually work by scanning through the registry and fixing any bad files that are in there. This then allows Windows to read as many files as it wants, when it wants to.
