You can download and scan your computer for free.
Microsoft Registry Problems = Slow Computer!
Clean windows registry means faster PC performance. The registry is one of the most valuable sections of your PC. This is where important information and directories relating to installed software, hardware, temporary files downloaded from the Internet, created documents and folders, and other minor and minor applications are stored.
Over time, you install new programs, uninstalled unimportant programs, update software’s, install new devices, download files from the web, etcetera, hence embarking all records in the registry system. This is normal, but it is not wise to leave it untouched. Once in a while, you have to check and remove files that are no longer in use to maintain the speed of your PC.

If your virus/spyware free, there are a couple things you can do get your computer working faster. If you using your computer for normal stuff and not gaming. You don’t always need more RAM you just need to perform a few maintenance task.
First, if you haven’t cleaned your registry in a while. This is necessary. Your registry holds all the information regarding updates, installs, un-installs etc. Each one of those events produces a key. That key needs your PC’s resources and free space. So, if you clean your registry, you make more resources available for speed. Do a registry scan if you got more than 20 errors you should clean it.

2. Clear your Windows cache files, this is your temporary file. It can grow up to a large volume and stop your computer from using RAM properly. In a sense slow it down by preventing it from using free space. Here is how:
1. Quit Internet Explorer, Firefox, or any other web browser
2. Click Start, click "Control Panel", and then double-click "Internet Options".
3. On the General tab, click "Delete Files" under Temporary Internet Files.
4. In the Delete Files dialog box, click to select the "Delete all offline content" check box , and then click OK.
5. Click OK.
3. Manage your startups. Your excess CPU usage is due to too many programs running in the background. You can cut these to barebones by alter your msconfig. Here is how:
1. Open your Start menu.
2. Click Run
3. In the command screen type "msconfig.exe"
4. In the "system configuration utility",click either "service" or "startup" tab
5. Uncheck all programs that your are no longer using.
6. Click "OK"
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup.
It runs a scan to see what junk files, temp internet files, recycle bin,
etc that are sitting in your computer taking up space unnecessarily.
You free up the space by hitting remove (delete). Every couple months you can run a disk defragmentation under System Tools. It takes quite a while to run this but it resorts and cleans up your index file. Edit your registry as there could be empty or redundant files in it from programs addons etc you removed. I use an amazing tool called Advanced System Care. It takes care of everything for my computer.
Go to the website and download their free version. It will perform the Regedit too. If youcan buy download the "deep" version nline for $19.95.
What you first want to do is run disc cleanup. On Windows Vista or 7 go to start, start search type "disc cleanup" without the quotation marks (On Windows XP, you can do this on Run). Then press enter. Check all the boxes, then press OK, it will take some time ranging from 30 seconds up to 10 minutes. Then after that is done, go to start, start search, type "disc defragmenter" without the quotation marks. Press enter, press defragment now, it will take from 10 minutes to a several hours, mine usually takes about 45 minutes. You can use your computer while doing this. After defragmenter is finished, delete files you don’t use, or are useless, or put them in a USB Flash Drive. DON’T DELETE IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE.
Good Luck!
go to start then go to all programs find system tools in accesories and choose one of the following disk defragmentor or disc cleanup

You can safely clean, repair and optimize your computer.
It will help improve your system performance.
