Learn how to stop freezing here:

You need to make your computer run faster. Give it a tune up!
1. Go to START
2. Click on RUN
3. Type in: MSCONFIG
4. Press your ENTER button
5. Click on the STARTUP tab
6. Uncheck everything except your virus protection software and your adware/spyware removal software
7. Click OK. DONT REBOOT!!! Choose to reboot later.
8. Open MY COMPUTER
9. At the top of the window, Click TOOLS and choose FOLDER OPTIONS
10. Click on the VIEW tab
11. Choose SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS then click OK
12. Close all programs and windows
13. Go to: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Temp
(NOTE: USERNAME is your username)
14. Delete everything that is in that folder.
15. Reboot your computer
16. Defragment your computer
That should help you out. If your computer is still running kind of slow, your adware/spyware remover might not be doing its job by getting rid of spyware. Your Antivirus could be doing the same. Try downloading "malwarebytes anti-malware" and running it. It is free. Do a quick scan to see if you have any viruses or spyware. It will tell you right away and get rid of it for you.
Another thing that could be slowing down your computer is your Antivirus or your spyware/adware removal programs. If they are large programs, like SpySweeper or Norton Antivirus, they could be slowing it down. I would get smaller software.
Hope this helps!
