Clean Registry and Optimize PC
There have to be two issues:
a. Virus Infection (Use Avast free)
b. Corrupt Registry/System errors (Use Reginout )

-try to scan your computer with good antivirus…use this http://free.avg.com/us-en/download-avg-anti-virus-free..
check some virus that infects your computer..
-your Operating system might be crashed..
-reinstall your windows for the safe way…

Restart your computer press F8 or F2 or F5 until you get an option to start windows in safe mode with networking but judging at your problem restart the computer in safe mode only. You say you are good with software so once in safe mode hope you can solve the problem,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Its better to scan ur pc with Kaspersky Anti-Virus…
You got Spyware my man.. Your computer is bring you to registry to clean your registry, but I don’t think you have anything wrong with your registry or your system. Get a Spyware removal and that should take care of your problem.
