   A good method would be to get either eset(cost money) or Avast(has a free version). Also, download a program called "rkill.exe", it closes all known mal-ware programs. Yet another good program (free) is call "immunet Protect" it is a free cloud based anti-virus designed to run along side true anti-virus programs.

   Does a program called Internet Security 2010 (or something like that) come up on your screen trying to get you to buy their product? well don’t mess with it and try to remove it. It is a virus and will destroy your computer. I lost my old PC to the same thing 🙁 If you need help removing it try using a friends pc to find help on internet or a library pc at a library near you

   With some asus eee pc’s they supply a recovery cd/dvd even though the pc does not have a cd/dvd reader,so an external reader has to be obtained.
   As far as i can find out the eee range does have recovery software on the hard drive as most note/netbooks have.
   to access the recovery procedure press F9 during the early load time.Start up your pc and just keep pressing F9 until the menu appears, and select recover.
   You will loose all you files that you have on your pc but you can try data recovery by downloading recuva free program when you are up and running
