Your computer seems sluggish and sometimes even crashes inexplicably .
there may have some Spyware running on your computer without you knowing it!

The most common cause of computer freezes is a corrupt registry.
Most likely your registry is bloated and overstuffed with an assortment of useless pieces of data. The operating system while running your computer has to pick its way through all this excess material. There will be bits of programs which were not completely uninstalled, parts of programs which were never completely installed, fragments of miscellaneous data, useless drivers, and a multitude of other bits and pieces.
The answer is to clean your registry and remove all the material which is not needed.

had the same problem about a month ago after not properly installing a new video card. it is a software related issue that after weeks of hassle, was only fixed by wiping the hard drive. back up all the stuff you want to an external source then restore your harddrive to factory settings (empty completely)
if all else fails, punch it.. that works 50% of the time lol
wipe the hard drive
You definitly need to re-install your operating system..
I use a single program for security..McAFEE..Firewall and VirusSCAN..
I can only suggest that..
What is the RPM of your HDD(Sys.C:/drive)..and its OS..it could be that.
