if it was sent to an authorized repair centre they should have wiped the drive, the os should have been factory configured
a repair /replace does not guarantee new parts are used
so it may make your system misbehave
nuke and pave it then see how it works if after it still acts up it should have a warranty for the repair get them to refix it
you cannot do anything about it, unless you have know exactly what they did to fix the previous problem dont do anything
contact your system manufacture
or just reinstall windows but if you do decide to take this option then do backup your documents to an external drive like disc or ipod. i would recommend this option as it reinstalls the core of the hard drive which is where the software is installed and the software is what the problem is, i bought my new computer 2 days ago , i am on it now and it only took me about 30 hour to put 60gb worth of stuff on my computer while playing a game at the same time, i put my files into a disc, and copied them to my documents folder on my new computer as well as installing stuff at the same time, the while installing playing a game, as long as you are doing something you enjoy during this process it wont seem that much of a chore
Save your important files and reload windows. The bios update probably caused it.I would do that after a bios update anyway.And the chipset on the motherboard may be a newer version also.
Fresh equipment fresh install
UGH! Computers and their problems. It’s the worst trying to fix them. I’ve done it three times and never, NEVER, had it come back completely fixed. I don’t bother anymore, unless it was something I had JUST bought. You can call in to the help line, they might be able to help you. You could take it to geek squad, but good luck on getting it fixed. You’ll probably have to call in and then send it back. Resign yourself now and skip the high blood pressure.
Normally, I would just reload the system, since a different motherboard and BIOS will cause LOTS of problems unless the HD is updated;
BUT, in this case you state it is NOT working occasionally.
THIS indicates other problems.
I would return it for repair AGAIN, and explain the current problems, in addition to the other software problems you are experiencing.
MAKE EXTERNAL backups of ALL important files BEFORE sending ANY computer in for repair, and back up regularly.
