I used a windows registry cleaner and ticked the boxes for all file extensions. Now I am not able to open any file. None of the file extensions are opening although the system starts normally. When I press CTRL+ALD+DLT, only the explorer is running. How do I restore my system. Please help me.
I am not able to open System restore from System tools as the lnk is not opening.

(registry cleaners)
Important leason to learn is that Registry Cleaner shows you everything in your registry weather they are bad or good or even needed. You have to be very careful what you delete.
If you use XP , and have system restore turned on , go to control panel , go to system , goto system restore , and choose a point that is before you made any changes.
Hope it works for you.
did you not get the warning about editing the registry, well if you didn't then here it is:
WARNING
Did you back up the registry before you made the changes ?
try system restore
start- all programs – acesories and system tools and system restore
Try running System Restore and restore to a prior date.
