Hi,
Not able to remove Windows update icon from my desktop . It looks like a malware but very strong one. I tried all the possible options, McAfee, Registry Cleaning, History Cleaning, Ad Aware, Hunt Spyware…but nothing worked.
Any help on this will be highly appreciated.

Is it next to the clock in the lower right hand corner?If it is…then try clicking windows update from the start menu,follow directions for windows update,install any updates that are there and click close.That should do it.If not,right click the icon,and click delete or exit.If that fails then restart your computer.
