Your key problem is with runnin’ Norton. That is the worst virus protection you could ever try. You will have to run the registry to get that all cleaned out. It’ll take about an hour to run. Then have something else to put on there.

When people will stop blame Vista for the abuse and neglect of their computer??
Poutana is right. A security suite today is not a fancy optional software is mandatory.Also windows require maintenance.The mess you are in the only option is to format/ re install. Use common sense with internet install a security software and do the maintenance.
