Reg Mechanic finds over 90 each time, Reg Cure finds a lot more, and yet each time I scan…there’s some left. Why are some "Free" and "The good ones" cost ? A SCAM not a SCAN !! That’s 4 questions, but the gist is there…any relative answer would be nice. Thanks !

Once the registry clean is on your computer and has found certain specific errors and gives the option to remove or clean an item–how am I to determine which item may be removed without damaging the way the computer runs. my registr scan says I have over 1200 problems! It gives the option to remove any or all of them, but warns that removing them can cause disfunction of my normal wanted programs. Should registry clean only be done by a professional? And how much would that cost?

Hi. I was wondering if someone could help me or give me a clue about the error I receive.
When I try to repair my installation of Windows XP Professional, it goes up to the step called "Installing Windows". After that, it shows me the following error:
"Hardware Installation
The software you are installing for this hardware:
ASUS Virtual Video Capture Device Driver
has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP.
Do you want to continue installing the software for this hardware?"
No matter what I choose, the computer will either restart or ask me for a disk labeled ‘NVIDIA Network Bus Installation Disk #1’, which I dont have.
When I first installed Windows, I didn’t have this problem.

I do have the original drivers that came with it, but when I put in the CD it just restarts. The original drivers are not labeled as XP asks.
