How do i get rid of winfixer and antivirus xp 08? Is there a way to do it for free?

I tried AVG antivirus, but it doesn’t remove it completely..
It just alerts me very couple of seconds that winfixer is a potential threat …
Any help is greatly appreciated

Actually few weaks ago i installed oracle in my pc but it was of no use to me as per my exam got over then i mistakenly tried to deleted it from my pc but it did’nt removed and started showing error when ever i turn on my pc so i wanna ask that how can i remove oracle completely and secondly one of frnd told me u can remove any prog through window registry but i dont understand how can i remove it plz tell me simlple and easy process and explain in simple language what is the role of registry or window registry or registry clean???

Can someone walk me through the Registry for Windows XP? My DVD Rom has no power and cannot be found.?

I recently re-formatted and reloaded XP from the boot CD. When it was finished, Windows works but doesn’t recognize the drive. It has no power and won’t open. I’ve tied cleaning off both cables into the drive multiple times with no luck. Can this be trouble shot through the registry and how do I do that? THX
