If you’re staying in France more than 3 months, you’ll need a VISA EXTENSION attached to your passport. You can get one from the French COUNSULATE. Keep your passport with you at all times. You’ll need it to travel to other Euopean countries if you get the chance. In that case, your friend will only need her national ID CARD because France is a member of the EUROPEAN ECONOMIC UNION.
