Windows doesn’t fix the registry – it’s not programmed to do it, hence why many people use registry cleaners. These tools scan through the registry and fix any of hte problems that might be in there. However, you might want to read up on RegCure because it’s been having some bad press lately : http://www.fastregistryfixes.com/regcure_review.html
Here is such a tool named wondershare privacy protector which have a hot offer on the site of Giveaway of the Day –
you can find it from:

Reg cure is a malicious site, they should not be allowed on the internet. Avast is a good program. If you need a cleaning, you can safely use ccleaner.com ~
First, avast is not a registry cleaner. It’s an anti virus program and is very good. If I am not mistaken, reg-cure is a rogue which is a tye of virus. http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/cleanup.htm go there and run the registry cleaner If you have installed reg cure on your computer then go to http://malwarebytes.org and download the free version. Its probably a good idea to do that in any event
