Can anyone tell me how to do this? I want to clean my registry up, but I want to make sure all of the current settings are saved in case I see subsequent issues. Also, what is the best freeware to use to clean the registry up? Thanks-

Download http://www.ccleaner.com/ and use that to clean up your registry. It will prompt you right before you start making changes if you want to back those up first.
