A registry cleaner can eliminate errors in your record. This record stores all information about the software, drivers, applications and games that are installed on your computer. And in time, it can get bad, because some obsolete entries are not deleted and can lead to what they call the "blue screen of death."
By using a registry cleaner, the blue screen error can be eradicated and increases the speed of your computer in the process. In addition, the blue screen of death will not happen if you regularly check and care for your computer system.
Registry "cleaning" programs are dangerous and should only be used by pros. Registry editors are not designed to "fix" things but only to "present" anomalies in your registry. A good program will present you a list of everything in your registry, and then you need to figure out what does not belong. Editing the registry or running "registry cleaners" is not advised for beginners.
To flat out answer the first question as to why they all find different things, or always find something? I am going to ask a question back – Are they asking for money to fix it? If they are – it is not a good sign.
Personally I use Cleaner free and Comodo System Cleaner free. You’re right – these programs don’t get everything but Comodo System cleaner gets more than Ccleaner.
For a thorough inspection I’d recommend using Runcscanner in expert mode. Just click on "scan computer" then look at the Malware tab for "file not found" errors then scroll to each item and press the space bar to "mark" it. Then look at the "item fixer" tab to fix the errors.
There’s also a registry jump feature if you right click an entry and you can then delete registry entries manually if you’re confident.
You can look at the other available tabs for a lot more information but deleting unsigned files or other entries without understanding what they are can have serious consequences.

It’s best to create a system restore point and ideally a cloned copy of your hard disk first.
