I downloaded a freeware called regCure. I scanned only my DLLs with it and it said i had 540 to clean. but it was a trial version so it couldnt clean them. I uninstalled it. When I did that it asked if i was sure i wanted to uninstall since it didnt clean those files. I said yes. I got another freeware that worked 100%. But when i scanned my DLL folder it came up with 0 results. is that becasue REgCure put them in a special place or something?

RegCure is CRAPWARE. It’s good that you did not buy that product, otherwise kiss your cash goodbye if you did. That program gives false positives to make you think that you got errors and then you buy, and luckily enough, it didn’t screw up your PC. Paretologic owns RegCure, and also owns XoftSpy too, which is another product to avoid like a plague.
See the WOT rating and it’s rated as RED, and see also the complaintsboard, and boy, there are a lot of disgruntled customers.
