   There are several good cleaners, clean up after downloads etc, I like CC cleaner and use it once a month, it does have a backup so be sure what ever you get that you have a backup of your computor just in case there is a problem…later.

   Like everyone else who answered this so far, I agree that a registry cleaner is a necessity. I use Microsoft’s Live OneCare Cleanup Scan, because I’ve learned to trust it. I tried CCleaner and didn’t like the results. Live OneCare loads a small scanner and 4 files, cleans the registry and compresses some unnecessary files, then uploads the results back off your computer. You can use it as often as you wish in complete safety.

   Yeah, they’re good. Some can do more damage than good.

   The one built into CCleaner is good.

   Very Very usefull
   They clean up your registry,especially when you install and uninstall programs there’s a lot of garbage left by them.
   If you get a decent one it will defragment your registry as well and it will considerably speed up your machine,if you have an old one even more.
   Registry mechanic is a very good one.
   You won’t regret it.

   yenlyy:I think your wrong,if you have a registry cleaner it won’t clean up internet history,but maybe the program you mention does but it’s a compleet other thing.
