   RegEasy doesnt have false positivies.

   It’s a legit program and its jsut the key you used that made your antispyware blast it.

   If you don’t like it use CCleaner or RegCure from the likes of http://www.fastregistryfixes.com/regcure_review.html

   Hello ,

   I do not use Registry Cleaners .. You can create short cuts for the files and folders that are recommended to be cleaned out/deleted . Contents only ,,,, not the folder . Then you can clean them yourself . I would cut to the chase and perform a Complete System Restore and give the PC a new and fresh Operating System . Once a Registry is corrupt , the gig is up . There is not a fix otherwise . Some of the folders to clean out are as follows >>> %temp% , Windows TEMP , Downloaded Program Files (some itmes in this folder may need to remain ,you will need to search for their meanings and definitions to confirm) , Prefetch , Java , Downloaded Installations , Offline Web Pages , Yahoo Cache , Temporary Internet Files , Disk Cleanup , Recycle Bin , Remember …. emty their CONTENTS only .. not the folder , Open each folder then click Edit , click Select All , Delete All , OK . These folders are best to emty when you are finished with the PC and just before Shut down when all your programs are closed .

   Registry Easy has a bad reputation, I doubt very much that deleting a bunch of registry entries made your computer run faster. All registry cleaners can do is delete information.

   no registry cleaners are worth buying and most of the free ones and paid for ones are a waste of time since they lie to you about what they find, I doubt your computer is running faster did you time anything before and after or is it just your subjective opinion, of course if it deleted subkeys in the "run" or "runonce" key in the registry your computer may run faster but you may be lacking vital security programs as a result

   That "over 600 errors" is the reason people hate on it.

   That product would claim to find a bazillion errors on a machine as it comes off the assembly line.

   Total bulls…
