It sounds like a program is only part removed from your notebook. something made your TuneUp Uts freak it so it hung. Perhaps IPF (invalid page fault). What you can do is try maybe yet another registry program. Something suitable for Vista. It will find the missing pieces that are no longer necessary to registry. Then remove these.
Also, as I did only yesterday, Google this specific problems and see what others do. Sometimes it is needed to go inside Regedit and take out pieces.
Sorry for this problem.
Download this utility and look for the entries where it is trying to run the items you list above. Unclick them and they will not startup when you log on.
