   You’ll need another computer – download a Linux image (Ubuntu would be good for this), burn it to a CD and boot it. Install Linux on the entire drive. Shut down (remove the CD when prompted) and restart. If it boots, it’s not your computer. If it doesn’t you may have a bad HD.

   (You ARE removing the Vista CD to boot after installation, right? [Sorry if the question is beneath you.])

   press f8 keys wen booting in then hit last good configuration that worked good luck

   Is your computer out of warranty? If not i’d suggest contacting the manufacturer for support or returning it for another machine.

   reinstall it again

   Format the partition where your vista installation lives. Then do the install
