I am not against paying for software to clean registry keys, but if there is a free trial version I can use it would help me pinpoint which registry keys need to be repaired.Plus I’m strapped for cash and need a site that can give me a find & fix trial version. If that’s possible!

Lots of them are free.
Don’t. "Registry Cleaners" are useless. They are based on a flawed concept.
You actually don’t need to repair your registry so much as you need to remove excess links. And the safest and quickest registry cleaner I’ve EVER used is Microsoft’s Live OneCare Cleanup Scan. It’s free, it’s quick and it’s completely safe.
