Why don’t you try CCleaner? And certain registry cleaners have deeper scans some play it safe some get deep.
CCleaner is free and so are a buch of registry cleaners these days. Why you paid for one is beyond me.
I have had Registry Booster for a while. Compared to other registry cleaners, it has a much improved scanning engine that can find a high number of invalid entries.
However this does not mean that all the marked entries are necessarily serious registry problems, but they can be invalid shortcut links in your "recent documents" menu for example.
These might be non critical errors, but they can still constitute an invalid registry entry, and you cannot deny that removing such invalid entries will result in a "cleaner" registry (and a smaller registry means a faster registry).
As for your issue with the USB controller, Registry Booster does target the system drivers and system software settings. Although I am not familiar with your particular issue, one or more of the 1119 errors found in your case might be targeting this issue. You will be glad to know that Uniblue also offers a 30-day money back guarantee should you not be entirely satisfied with the product.
