   First of all get rid of anything Norton! I used to be tech support for a cable internet company. Many of my customers had speed issues when running Norton , its garbage. That may not be the cause though but it was interesting how may people had problems with Norton and when they got rid of it , had no problems. also do you do any maintenance with your pc ? The common fix for slow web sites was usually to have people clear there history and cookies. Also and this can be a big culprit , scan for spyware that can slow you down to a crawl. Since you use firefox this is odd but another thing is if running IE to just reset the interent options to default some times things get corrupted and woudl slow people down on certain web sites….. ahhhh so many things that can be the problem I do not miss tech support at all. THese are just some of the basics, try them out if you havn’t already, good luck.
