They ship out repairs to a shop in Richardson!? That’s not good. I need a local computer geek on SMU campus.. – Today
I visited the ‘SMU Computer Corner’ today and was disappointed to find out that they don’t actually make any repairs on dell laptops or macbooks on campus. Their rates are also quite high starting at $80 for a diagnosis, loading an operating system costs around $200 and they don’t install any of your applications like office etc unless you have the orginal disks / license.
A friend of mine told me to checkout the student center post office help wanted bulletin for a local computer guy. I found this guy called the ‘Scooter Computer Doctor’ called him up and he removed my virus and fixed my wireless for $35!! here’s Scooter’s number 214-784-3929.
