Don’t worry. I’ve heard of a few people who have had this problem.
Try to install and scan with Spybot S&D or Malwarebytes Anti-malware to remove any malware pests. Both have an IP blocker option and real-time protection (free in Spybot, available only in the full version of Malwarebytes), which is good at preventing the problem before it happens. I for one use full MBAM (someone here answered another question recommending Malwarebytes coupon codes shared by other users on http://news.dtcdeals.com/malwarebytes-coupon-code to save on the purchase) I prefer it since it has a scheduler to run scans and upgrades by itself.
This should help solve your problem and will also keep the computer protected in the future! Good luck 🙂
Try using Spyware Doctor from PCTools. It costs a little bit of money BUT it has this separate operating system thing which allows you to boot and fix your PC with their own spyware remover. It should solve your problem for you.
you can try to change the name of the program before insdtalling/runing it.
but many of these new viruses are learning viruses. my father got one and as i was trying to track it down, it changed folder options so i couldn’t view hidden files/directories, couldn’t use task manager and couldn’t use safe mode.
also, the fact that it’s solid state is of no relevance here….
