   Then use a good reg cleaner like Eusing or AML free registry cleaner.

   Restore your system, if it still does not work then get the files from your USB onto another computer, extract and burn to a CD, run it and hope it works.

   yes you removed some reg for corel BUT the reg key or CLASSid is looking for" C:\Users\Jon\appdata\Local\Temp\Corel Video Studio Pro x4\14.0.0.001\Lang\Custom\init.mtm"
   and this is related to the windows installer.
   try the coral install for repair option and do it.

   if you still have that problem after a repair or install if no repair is available.
   make sur it is not in the startup folder or listed as startup / run in the registry..
   uninstall and search the registry for {init.mtm} at the computer level. export for backup and remove the value {init.mtm} only

   Keep in MIND system restore can repair it to an earlier date but rather then saving a copy of windows folders export or backup your registory
