You would do well to take the advice of our dear contributor, Enigma, who has taken the time to supply splendid information. Well done dear girl! Now, I should think you could also consider painting your machine red, but, if all these fine suggestions prove fruitless then, no offence my good man, but I’ll wager your computer may be a heap of cr@p and your best course of action is to upgrade it.
May I take it that you are american? Well, of course it didn’t work, even my neighbours five year old knows that. It should have been said like a Buddhist chant.
L-O-L
And….you posted this in royalty, because…?
A suggestion: post in computers, rather than royalty.
Yeah, you chose the wrong catalog.
Anxious to optimize PC performance, but misled by bad tips, which makes things even worse, in the end you have no one to complain to, but spend a large sum of money to get your PC fixed. That’s just kinda sad, isn’t it? Let’s make the tragedy never happen again, look up the list below, and find out what are the worst tips that are boasted of being able to fully optimize PC slow performance, but on the contrary, only decreases PC performance!
<1>Worst tips I: Clean out PC virus
Yeah, to optimize PC performance we must clean out PC virus, there is nothing wrong with the suggestion, but what they don’t tell you or you don’t know is to optimize PC sluggish performance isn’t something we can achieve only by wiping out virus, but antivirus software as well. Am I out of my mind? No! I don’t mean that to use PC safety to exchange the opportunity to optimize PC performance, but to use multi-operating system to eliminate the side effects brought by antivirus software, which are long start-up time and high resource utilization when it’s on real time monitoring mode, etc. Or use a software program like shadow defender that records every change you make and undo the changes when your PC is restarted which means no normal program even virus can survive in your hard drive as long as shadow defender is intact and running. This is also another useful way to optimize PC performance.
<2>Worst tips II: Optimize startup programs
What can I say? Most of the authors only tell you that to increase PC performance you need to reduce startup applications and how to do it, and have you noticed that the one thing they never tell you may be the most important one, which is what programs to reduce from start up menu. It is not like we can just close our eyes and delete whatever we want from start up menu. Our purpose is to optimize PC performance, if we do it blindly, consequence may be sluggish PC performance or irreversible system disorder.
<3>Worst tips III: Defrag your disk
Um, right, go and defrag your disk to fully optimize PC system performance, but once again, they neglect to tell you how to prevent disk fragment and how often you should defrag your disk. I agree that to defrag disk is one optimized method to improve PC performance. Just like keeping pouring water into a pool with a hole in order to fill it up is not considered smart, you need to know what makes disk defragment and how often to defrag disk is not harmful.
<4>Worst tips IV:Use a registry tool
This is not worst to be exact! But it is not right to over exaggerate a PC tweak tool as omnipotence. A registry tool helps us automatically clean out leftover junks in registry conveniently, and handle some other risky jobs that doesn’t suit computer newbies but optimize PC performance.
Nonetheless, a single program is never powerful enough, but a registry tool combined with free life-time technical support does!
