Couldnt figure out how to edit or ammend my first question, so … Computer is a Dell Dimension 4600. Loaded all original Software onto new Hard Drive. Diagnostics says all is ok. Connection Wizard cant find any DRIVERS on computer. otherwise, everything else works fine that I go into. I’ve reloaded software and ran "repairs", and still no luck.
I have repeatedly put in the drivers disc and OS disc and even started over and STILL cannot get it to work. Am really lost here.

Windows XP Clean Install can’t get internet?
I have comcast high speed internet, and I’m using a ethernet cord. I’m a Linux person, but I’ve been needing to get windows XP working, so I have this computer with XP on it, fresh install, I need to find out how to get the internet working on it. I’ve been staring at the New Connection Wizard for 30 minutes now, fiddling with everything, how do I get this to work?

How do I fix my Windows XP Pro/my registry after removing virus?
I had the Total Security/Anti-Virus Pro_2010 rogue virus which I have removed with mulitple programs and then did a registry clean with COMODO but now my Autoplay camera wizard is not automatically popping up like it always has in the past. I ran an Avast scan which found no infected files but also could not scan 44 files. Before this virus Avast always could scan all my files and never showed these "unscannable" files. On a forum I saw that someone provided a forum moderator specialist who was helping them remove their virus the same list of files as mine (in the same order too) from some type of file check they do to figure out how they want to attack and remove the virus. This fact makes me sure that this must be part of my problem. Any info on how to fix this situation would be greatly appreciated. Here are the unscannable files:
