OK, so whenever I try to play ANY game, the game stutters or freezes every second. So it’ll run fine for 1 second, then will freeze for half a second. In essence, one third of total gameplay is the freezing or stuttering. Can somebody please help with this?

It is not online, and does not matter what game it is. I even tested it out with Runescape and it did the same thing! I can’t even play stupid online flash games. And for every game, it freezes the same amount and style as it would for any other game. My system can more than handle almost any game thrown at it, so I am thorougly confused about what is going on.

I have registry cleaned, scanned for viruses and malware, and defragmented my hard drive. Also, my processor or any other type of hardware has not overheated. What is going on?

will repairing and cleaning my registry stop my computer from system dumping??? it is really annoying. its a brand new computer with windows vista, and it worked for about 2 days. and then it starts system dumping!!!! especially when i try to play a game it dumps and restarts. anyone know how to fix it?
oh, i can’t take it into any repair thing. and i have 6 gb ram!!!!

pc specs: AMD 64 5000 black ed. 6 gig ram. 250 hdd, dvd rw drive, 9600GT nvidia graphics card, rocketfish cooling fan!
windows vista 64

I want to play the game Timeshift but all my video card and other computer system drivers are horribly out of out of date . Is there any site that i can go to so that i can scan my computer and find out what driver downloads i can put on my computer to bring it up to date and make it faster and make the games stop freezing . I need to have a site that does not have an unknown publisher and is a reputable site. Are there any sites that do the scan and update drivers so that i can get my computer in tip-top shape?

Hi, so I had Windows 98 on my Compaq Presario, and my sister often played a game called Petz 5 with no problems. A while ago though I "upgraded" to Windows XP via a clean install (I wiped my hard drive and installed XP.)

The problem is now the game won’t run. I reinstalled it but it says the resolution has to be higher. And even after installing the driver for my monitor, I still can’t change the resolution. It gives me a weird black error screen message saying the monitor can’t handle it. WHICH doesn’t make sense since I could play the game before…

Okay, so I have a Compaq Presario MV520 monitor and I THINK an SiS 530/620 video adapter, or at least that’s what Windows is telling me.

If someone knows how I can get my resolution working like it was before that would be great! Oh, and if it is a driver issue, please paste the exact URL for them because I’ve been looking into this for months and can’t find the right ones! 😛

Thanks so much in advance,

Lukas

PS If I left out any information that might help, lemme know and I’ll add it ASAP. Thanks! 🙂

My computer is running extremely show when downloading. I have currently been trying to download Aion (a game) since 1:30 pm yesterday and it is still downloading. I know its large but it should not be taking this long. My computer is downloading at 98 KBs/sec. Is there a way to speed up my computer that i myself can do, or a program that iisn’tto expensive. Help?
