I must have downloaded a bug or something, because it won’t let me run any kind of programs that clean junk. Like System Mechanics, Spybot Search and Destroy, or the Anti-Malware programs I download. Earlier today, I actually got System Mechanics to work and while it was scanning the registry it found a problem and instantly shut down and wouldn’t boot again.

Whenever I go to launch only these types of programs, I keep getting the notice that says Cannot locate the file etc etc, you may not have the appropriate permissions to run this program, something or other.

I get the fishy feeling that whatever bug or virus I’ve got knows these programs and won’t let them run. Does that sound about right to anyone else? And if so, what can I do about it?
Gaspar… the same thing happened with Hijack This just now. Ran for a few seconds the n vanished. Now I can’t open it again, even if I run as admin. WHAT’S HAPPENING?!?

i cant start my computer after using system mechanics software to clean up my registry and im stuck just before the log in window and i am usinx XP. i remeber it says i have 9 problems and 1 critical problem when the system mechanics analysed my computer and i said, YES and it cleaned up my computer and after some compressing during the restart, i cant start my computer at all. damn system mechanics.what should i do now?
